Double Spiral

A double spiral is a variant of the basic spiral fold. Before forming the spiral, the fabric or garment is folded in half, often diagonally. The double spiral is more uniform in the front of the garment if it is folded so that the front of the garment or fabric is "inside" when you fold it in half. After it is folded, the fabric is worked into a spiral, bound and dyed as one would a regular spiral.
